Terms and Conditions
Effective October 23, 2026 · Renter app policy version 1.2
This policy covers TourPad’s renter app and public website. For legacy property-management Tenancies and Bookings, see the preserved September 14, 2026 policy.
1 Service and agreement
These Terms govern the renter features of TourPad provided by Cedarline Technologies LLC, a Florida limited liability company (TourPad, formerly KeyProof, we, us). They cover the iOS app and associated public website. By using these renter features, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains information handling. Legacy property-management Tenancies and Bookings remain subject to their separately applicable agreements.
TourPad helps you save and compare rental properties, document viewings and home condition, prepare reports, and organize moving tasks. Features depend on your device, location and the version available to you. TourPad is not your landlord, property manager, rental broker, inspector, lawyer or third-party service provider. Selecting a property does not apply for it, reserve it, sign a lease, or confirm a move. You must make those arrangements separately.
For legacy property-management Tenancies and Bookings, see the separately preserved September 14 2026 terms linked below. These renter Terms do not cancel existing commitments under those agreements.
2 Eligibility
You must be at least 18, have reached the age of majority where you live and be legally able to enter this agreement. Obtain permission needed for your use and do not act on another person’s behalf without authority. Do not provide unnecessary information about children.
3 Guest use and accounts
You can use personal documentation features as a guest. Sign in with Apple is available for account features. Signing in does not establish that every local record is uploaded, synchronized or backed up. Local records can be lost if a device is reset, damaged or lost, or app data is removed. Export records you need to keep.
Protect your device and account credentials. Report suspected unauthorized access through the app’s Contact support control. A name entered as the preparer of a report is user-supplied information and is not independent identity verification.
4 Listings and preferences
You may save property addresses, listing links, screenshots, details, notes and preferences, and compare saved properties. TourPad is not a live rental-listing marketplace. Review imported information before saving it; listings and extracted information can be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated or unavailable. We do not verify ownership, authority to rent, price, condition, listing authenticity or availability. Where you use optional AI extraction, selected content is sent to the extraction provider as described in the Privacy Policy.
5 Capture and reports
Obtain permission and any consent required to access, photograph, scan or record a property or people. Recording laws vary by place and context. Avoid capturing identification documents, financial information, access codes, private conversations or other unnecessary sensitive information. Review and remove or obscure sensitive material before sharing or exporting.
Manual measurements and scans are estimates and can be wrong. Verify dimensions independently before buying furniture, planning access or relying on a fit. Scan availability depends on device capability. TourPad does not warrant measurement accuracy, structural safety, compliance with building rules or furniture fit.
Walkthroughs and reports reflect information entered or captured by users. They are not professional inspections, legal advice or certifications, and do not guarantee admissibility, authenticity of the original facts, a dispute outcome or deposit recovery. A finished record may be read-only within the relevant workflow; that does not create indefinite retention or eliminate applicable deletion rights. A timestamp or integrity mechanism records its specified technical event, not a legal conclusion. No failure to respond is represented by TourPad as automatically creating an electronic signature or agreement.
You choose whether to export or share a report through your device. Recipients can retain and redistribute copies. Deleting records or your account cannot recall copies outside TourPad.
6 Sharing and exported records
You control whether to share or export records through the controls available in your version of the app. Saving a property or signing in does not by itself make that property visible to another user.
Recipients may retain or redistribute exported files or screenshots. Removing access within TourPad cannot recall independently held copies. Other users retain rights in content they independently supplied.
7 Content rights
You retain any rights you hold in your content. Other users retain theirs, and imported listing materials remain subject to their owners’ rights. You grant us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, reproduce and display your content only to operate the features you use, make your authorized shares and exports, protect the Service, and comply with law. Service providers may exercise this license only to perform those functions for us. This is not permission to sell your photos, train general-purpose models on your content or use it in advertising. Any proposed additional use requires separate review and any necessary permission. The license ends on deletion, except for a specifically justified retention period described in our Privacy Policy.
8 Permitted use and complaints
Upload and share only content you have the right to use. Personal access to a listing does not necessarily grant a right to republish it. Do not bypass access restrictions, infringe rights, impersonate anyone, harass others, upload unlawful content or malware, or interfere with security. Our software and branding remain ours or our licensors’. You may use the Service for its intended functions, subject to these Terms and any rights the law gives you.
Report abuse, privacy concerns or infringement to [email protected], identifying the item and issue without sending unnecessary sensitive information. We may limit access to disputed content while reviewing it, remove unlawful or prohibited content, or suspend abusive accounts. Where appropriate and lawful, we provide notice and a way to request reconsideration. Reports do not guarantee removal, and we do not undertake to inspect all user content.
9 Leaving and deletion
You can request deletion in Settings by choosing Delete account and all data, typing DELETE and confirming. Export anything you need first. The deletion flow does not require a new Sign in with Apple sheet. A valid existing session or the app’s recovery mechanism is used to authorize the operation.
Account deletion removes your account and user-owned cloud records, including your own shared contributions, and removes your account’s data, guest data and older unlabeled records from the device where you request deletion. Data identified as belonging to another account on that device is preserved.
Deletion also removes uploaded user-owned media and revokes the Apple authorization held for your account. Other users’ independently supplied content and copies already exported outside TourPad are outside that deletion. Separately governed legacy tenancy records are handled under their applicable policy. The app shows completion after backend and local cleanup checks succeed; interrupted operations may need to resume. Offline devices and separately controlled backups are not erased instantly.
10 Optional partner offers
Get settled contains moving tasks and optional links to independent providers. Some links are affiliate links and TourPad may earn a commission. Offers are not an impartial comparison of all providers. Availability does not guarantee a quote, coverage, service area, appointment or booking. A task can be completed without opening an offer or buying anything.
Following an offer opens a provider destination, where you decide whether to supply your details and enter its agreement. We do not supply a customer contact database. Approved referral links identify a referral from TourPad; the Privacy Policy explains associated information flows. Provider terms and privacy notices apply to your dealings with the provider. A click or return to TourPad does not confirm purchase or complete a task. Providers handle their quotes, bookings, services, cancellations and refunds. Contact them for those issues and contact us for problems with the TourPad offer display or referral. Offers may change or be withdrawn.
Insurance destinations are independent providers. TourPad does not underwrite, bind or provide individualized advice about coverage. The provider’s terms, eligibility, service area and licensed advice govern any insurance purchase. TourPad may receive referral compensation. An offer is not a recommendation that particular coverage meets your needs.
11 Fees and changes to the Service
The current renter release unlocks premium app features under its launch configuration. These Terms do not introduce a TourPad subscription or apply PM subscription charges to renter app use. Any future paid feature must disclose its price, renewal and cancellation terms before purchase. Partner purchases are governed by the partner’s agreement.
We may update the Service and address security or legal issues. For a material reduction of a paid feature, we will provide legally required notice and remedies and honor any applicable purchase commitments. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, unlawful use or a material breach, with notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue where practical and lawful. On discontinuation, we will provide reasonable export notice where feasible and any refund required by law or our paid-feature agreement.
12 Warranties and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided as available without additional implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or noninfringement. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every defect will be corrected. Nothing in these Terms excludes a statutory warranty, duty of care or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, warranties or consumer remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
You are responsible for your own unlawful conduct and content to the extent provided by law. These consumer Terms do not impose the existing PM policy’s broad duty to defend and indemnify Cedarline.
13 Governing law and disputes
These Terms do not require arbitration or waive class proceedings or rights that cannot lawfully be waived. Mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings available under applicable consumer law remain available.
14 Updates and contact
We identify each version and effective date. We will give advance notice of material changes as required by law and applicable existing commitments, explain their effect, and request renewed agreement or consent where required. An updated Privacy Policy does not by itself authorize a new optional use of personal information. Changes are not retroactive unless lawfully agreed. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues to the extent lawful. These Terms and expressly applicable feature terms form our agreement for the renter Service; mandatory consumer law prevails.
